“I coach in California, USA. My coaching background includes, player development in Shanghai – China, New York Red Bulls, Arsenal FC Development Centre, Manchester United FC Soccer Schools and Chelsea FC Foundation.
My qualifications include the UEFA A Licence (English FA), Youth Modules 1, 2, 3 and Goalkeeping (English FA), Talent Identification (English FA)
I am the last of 5 siblings. Born and raised in South London by my Mother, Justina who is still a big influence on me today. I enjoyed a 23 year playing career in England where the clubs I represented included Millwall Lionesses, Wimbledon, Crystal Palace, Fulham and Tooting and Mitcham, before an ACL injury forced me into retirement in my early 30s.
As a player, sometimes I felt that I knew better than my manager, my teammates were similar. If I did not get selected to play, I grew annoyed, inwardly questioning the manager’s decision. If I played, but was substituted, I grew annoyed, inwardly questioning the manager’s decision. If I played and events during the game were not to my liking, guess what, I questioned the manager’s decisions.
Everyone is an expert.
My breeding, my Mother’s outlook on life and my family background, dictates who I am today. I make mistakes and, upon reflection, I look to improve. I question myself just as I questioned my manager’s decisions all those years ago. Can I just point out, that I never openly questioned my manager except when it came to the personal safety of players.
Thank-you for visiting my website.
You will be able to get an insight to my experiences within our beautiful game, read some of my articles and watch my video blog.
It goes without saying that my views are my own and not that of my employer”
